B.Com Tax Procedure & Practice
B.Com Tax Procedure & Practice is an undergraduate course in commerce. The course study helps the candidate to gain skills in accounting, finance, and economics with special emphasis on taxation. Diverse aspects of different types of tax such as Income tax, Value Added Tax or VAT, Service Tax, Property Tax, etc are covered under the course. The students are exposed to details of indirect taxes like customs and central excise tax, wealth tax, etc. Upon completion of the course, the students become capable of performing well in banking, financial institutions, in accounting, marketing services, and so on.
The candidates who have completed their XII class studies are eligible to apply to the course.The course seems much easy for students who have completed their intermediate studies in commerce (when compared to students of other disciplines).They should possess minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination to seek admission to the same. The admission to the course is offered on the basis of the marks of the qualifying exam.
